About Split PDF

Split PDF breaks one document into smaller files. Choose page ranges, split every N pages, separate odd and even pages, or split at bookmarks. Multiple outputs are packaged as a ZIP.

How to use it

Choose a split method and enter page ranges if needed (for example 1-3, 5, 8-10).

Your file stays on your device

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is read from your device, processed in memory, and saved back to your device — it is never uploaded to Qpdf or anyone else. Once this page has loaded, the tool also works with your internet connection switched off.

Good to know

Splitting by bookmarks downloads the CoherentPDF engine (about 9 MB) the first time. Other split modes need no extra download.
