About PowerPoint to PDF

PowerPoint to PDF uses LibreOffice compiled to WebAssembly to convert PPTX, PPT files on your own device. The conversion engine is large, so it is downloaded once and then reused.

How to use it

  1. Select your PPTX, PPT file.
  2. Wait for the conversion engine to load the first time.
  3. Convert and download the PDF.

Your file stays on your device

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is read from your device, processed in memory, and saved back to your device — it is never uploaded to Qpdf.ca or anyone else. The first time you use it, your browser downloads the LibreOffice conversion engine (software only, about 75 MB) from Qpdf.ca’s asset server.

How Qpdf.ca keeps files private →

Good to know

  • The LibreOffice engine is roughly 75 MB compressed and needs a modern desktop browser with enough memory.
  • Layout can differ slightly from Microsoft Office, especially with uncommon fonts.
