About Edit PDF

The PDF editor opens your document in a full viewer with tools for highlighting, comments, freehand drawing, text boxes, shapes, images and redaction.

How to use it

  1. Select your PDF, or drag it onto the drop area.
  2. Choose a tool from the toolbar and mark up the pages.
  3. Download the edited PDF.

Your file stays on your device

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is read from your device, processed in memory, and saved back to your device — it is never uploaded to Qpdf or anyone else. Once this page has loaded, the tool also works with your internet connection switched off.

Good to know

  • To change existing paragraphs of text, use Edit PDF Text.
  • Annotations can usually be edited or removed by others. Flatten the PDF if they must be permanent.
